For the past two weeks FedEx facilities around the world have been buzzing with as much activity as you’d expect from purple-clad Santa’s “elves” during the holiday season. The company is in the midst of its busiest season in history and moved roughly 17 million packages on its busiest day in history, December 12, 2011.
