GLASGOW, August 16, 2012 — FedEx Trade Networks, the freight forwarding arm of global shipping giant FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX), announced today it has established new operations in Glasgow, Scotland as part of its ongoing expansion initiative. This is the third FedEx Trade Networks office to open in the United Kingdom and will offer customers amplified access to major global markets and the company’s comprehensive portfolio of freight forwarding solutions.

Strategically located close to the Glasgow (GLA) and Prestwick (PIK) airports, as well as Greenock and Grangemouth ocean terminals, Glasgow is an ideal location for the expert in international trade to launch operations. The addition of Glasgow to its existing freight forwarding offices in London and Manchester strengthens the company’s global capabilities with increased coverage in the UK.
