Huawei’s products and solutions have been deployed in over 140 countries, serving more than one third of the world’s population, and 45 out of the top 50 telecommunications operators.
Along with other logistics service providers, DHL’s business units Supply Chain, Freight, Express and Global Forwarding, are responsible for handling the finished products.
As a result of the partnership, DHL Supply Chain has created 80 new jobs and enlarged its warehouse capacity in Biatorbágy by 10,000 m², to create 90,000 m² of space.

DHL provides logistics services for Huawei Technologies in Hungary from two European Supply Centre locations

DHL’s international presence, its vast experience in production logistics, reliability, unique bundling of quality service, capacity and fast implementation of solutions led to the establishment of a partnership with Huawei – a leading global information and communication technology solutions provider.

Huawei has end-to-end capabilities across carrier networks, enterprise, consumer, and cloud computing fields. Huawei’s products and solutions have been deployed in over 140 countries, serving more than one third of the world’s population, and 45 out of the top 50 telecommunications operators.

DHL supplies Huawei’s European Supply Centers in Pécs (SW Hungary) and Komárom (NW Hungary) with raw materials required for the production of wireless, mobile transmission and telecommunications devices. Along with other logistics service providers, DHL’s business units Supply Chain, Freight, Express and Global Forwarding, are responsible for handling the finished products. Services provided by DHL include packaging, customs services, road transportation and ocean freight forwarding of the products, which are worth tens of millions of dollars.

As a result of the partnership, DHL Supply Chain has created 80 new jobs and enlarged its warehouse capacity in Biatorbágy by 10,000 m², to create 90,000 m² of space.

Ferenc Ujszászi, Business Development Director at DHL Supply Chain Hungary, added: “In our two central warehouse facilities goods are received and stored in accordance with Deutsche Post DHL The Mail & Logistics Group

the required specialized needs after thorough quality and quantity checks. Goods can reach the production line in as little as four hours after an order has been placed. The production lines, which run 24 hours a day, are served continuously from our central warehouses.”
