Expanded program for children and youth

Support provided to the festival for over 10 years

Deutsche Post DHL, the world’s leading postal and logistics company, will provide a diverse program of 26 events in its Post Tower Lounge for the Beethovenfest in 2014, in addition to its overall financial support of the festival. With this sophisticated complimentary program, DPDHL hopes to encourage visitors to embrace classical music in all its diversity. The 2014 program is based on a successful pilot program in 2013 and will be rounded off with events dedicated to “Kids and Classicism” (Kinder und Klassik).“Our cultural offer is geared toward lovers of classical music and is free of charge, as is the case every year,” said Christof Ehrhart, Head of Corporate Communications and Responsibility at Deutsche Post DHL. “We also hope to create new enthusiasts out of those who are not yet fans of the classical tradition. That is why we are particularly pleased to be able to offer additional events for our young guests, so that they can not only experience classical music but also actively help to create it.”The 26 events at the Post Tower Lounge will run from September 7 until October 3 of this year and will cover a wide spectrum of different musical styles.
