Transfers between the Eurolines and Postbus lines

As part of these cooperative routes, transfers between the Eurolines and Postbus lines will be possible in Berlin, Bremen, Darmstadt, Dresden, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Hanover, Karlsruhe and Munich. The bus schedules have been harmonized to promote simple and convenient connections. All of these new connections will continue to deliver the high quality and top security customers have come to expect from Postbus. In addition, most of the newly offered international routes are provided using Eurolines “Business Class” coaches.

“We’re pleased to be working with a strong, internationally experienced partner like Eurolines. Through this cooperation we’ll be able to offer our customers access to many new attractive destinations throughout Europe, all simply and conveniently on just one ticket,” says Joachim Wessels, Managing Director of Deutsche Post Mobility GmbH. “We firmly believe that a portfolio of attractive city connections and affordable prices are the best way to get many travelers interested in bus travel throughout Europe.”

“Deutsche Touring has been consistently expanding its international network of destinations for almost 70 years now,” says Frank Zehle, General Manager of Deutsche Touring GmbH. “By partnering with Postbus, known for its outstanding quality in domestic German long-distance bus travel, our customers will benefit from a wider range of potential destinations within Germany. Our European destinations are now accessible from even more German cities.”

Tickets can be purchased in the roughly 12,000 post offices and 11 Eurolines ticket centers (plus 20 key accounts and 2000 agencies) as well as via the websites www.postbus.de and www.eurolines.de. Telephone reservations are also possible (Deutsche Post: Tel.: +49 1806 972797* (*20 euro cents per connection from a German landline; max. 60 euro cents per connection from a German mobile network); Eurolines: +49 6196-2078-501 as well as major bus and mobility portals, travel agents (such as DERTOUR) and tourist information offices. For those who enjoy spontaneity, the tickets can also be purchased directly from the Postbus driver.
