Life Sciences and Healthcare network of DHL reaches new quality standard through IATA CEIV Pharma Certification

The DHL Global Forwarding station in Brussels, Belgium has already been awarded the CEIV Pharma Certification. In the first phase it includes 30 of its key DHL Air Thermonet GDP Compliant stations worldwide. The project will be conducted in close coordination between DHL and IATA. A door-to-door courier transport solution, ‘Life Sciences graded Specialty Courier’, covers for the specific needs of the life sciences industry and complements another product offer, Medical Express, which is based on DHL Express’s global network and time definite express service. With ‘DHL Clinical Trial Logistics’, DHL provides logistics services for clinical trial materials including investigational medication, ancillaries and lab kits.The facilities selected for the IATA CEIV pharmaceuticals certification are part of DHL Global Forwarding’s Thermonet network.

USPS honors Service Cross Medal recipients

Postal Service honored military service members who have been awarded one of the four Service Cross Medals — the Army Distinguished Service Cross, the Navy Cross, which includes the Marine Corps, the Air Force Cross and the Coast Guard Cross. The Service Cross Medals are the second highest military decoration for valor in combat, after the Medal of Honor. The Distinguished Service Cross was the first of these decorations to be established, in 1918, followed the next year by the Navy Cross. Anniversary of repeal of Stamp Act commemorated

Postal Service today dedicated a Forever stamp souvenir sheet commemorating the 250th anniversary of the repeal of the Stamp Act in 1766. The commemorative stamp art depicts a crowd gathered around a “liberty tree” to celebrate the repeal of the Stamp Act. The Stamp Act was British legislation that proved historic in galvanizing and uniting the American colonies, setting them on a path toward independence. The stamp ceremony was held at the World Stamp Show— NY 2016 at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York City, which continues through June 4. World Stamp Show Souvenir Portfolio, a coffee-table book featuring each of the eight stamp issues released during the show will include 3-D, augmented reality.

USPS dedicates 2016 World Stamp Show folio

USPS StampApp, the only official cloud-based U.S. stamp collecting app that includes an entire stamp reference library along with user-generated content for stamp collectors to upload their own stamp collection. Postal Service dedicated a Forever Stamp Folio celebrating World Stamp Show-NY 2016, which opened today at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City and continues through June 4. World Stamp Show Souvenir Portfolio, a coffee-table book featuring each of the eight stamp issues to be released during the show will include 3-D, augmented reality. The stamps are produced as an elegant folio presenting two panes of stamps, similar in design to the stamps issued in 2015 to announce World Stamp Show-NY 2016. Antonio Alcalá served as art director and Michael Dyer was both designer and typographer for the stamp pane.
