FedEx Shares Trends in Bio Pharma Cold Chain and Healthcare ShipmentsFedEx Express (FedEx), a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX) and the world’s largest express transportation company, shared logistic tips and solutions to transport temperature-sensitive healthcare shipments at a seminar hosted by the Korea Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (KPMA). The facility has storage and operations space, and can store, handle and distribute a wide range of temperature-controlled medical shipments. Odaka highlighted how FedEx expertise in temperature-controlled shipments, especially for Biosimilars and Stem Cells, can help Korean healthcare businesses access customers around the world. In February, FedEx launched a distribution center at Kimpo to handle medical shipments. Kunio Odaka, manager of Asia Pacific Healthcare Sales at FedEx Express, shared how to balance the concerns of costs while maintaining the quality that is required for transporting temperature-controlled shipments.
