Zachary Scott Named President of UPS Ohio Valley District

US 06/28/10Indianapolis, INZachary Scott, a 31-year UPS veteran, has assumed command as president of the company's new and expanded Ohio Valley District, directing small package operations in an area that covers all or parts of four states.The Ohio Valley District is one of 20 new Districts dividing the United States activated earlier this year. No package handling facilities have been affected by the consolidation of management offices, nor have any UPS drivers or package handlers. It includes all of Kentucky, Indiana, and southern Illinois and southwest Ohio and features a package-delivery operation with some 13,000 employees. Scott most recently served as the manager of UPS's Central Pennsylvania District. As part of the realignment, UPS also is expanding its outreach to customers by strengthening local sales and marketing efforts.
