CDP Ranks UPS in Top Ten Percent of Companies Measured for Sustainability Efforts

UPS makes CDLI with a score of 100 out of 100

UPSandreg; (NYSE: UPS) announced it secured a top ranking on the CDP’s Climate Disclosure Leadership Index (CDLI) of Standard andamp; Poor’s (Sandamp;P) 500 companies for the fourth consecutive year. With a score of 100 out of 100, UPS ranked among the top ten percent of companies measured and one of only 14 to receive a score of 100.

The annual index showcases companies listed on the S&P 500 that have demonstrated a high level of transparency and data quality in their disclosure of climate-related information. Sixty-three S&P 500 companies are featured in the 2014 CDLI.

“This year, being among the first U.S. companies to adopt the Global Reporting Initiative’s new comprehensive level of reporting further advanced UPS’s commitment to integrating sustainability into its business decisions,” said Rhonda Clark, UPS chief sustainability officer. “It’s another way to hold our company to the highest standard of transparency and disclosure.
