DHL integrates Sweden as the next country in the European parcel network
They had previously been run by DHL Freight, a leading provider of road freight services in Europe. The integration of the independent Service Point network into the European parcel business will put DHL Parcel in position to offer nationwide delivery in Sweden in the future. DHL will thus have more than 10,000 Parcelshops in Europe outside of Germany that are managed across borders under a single brand. Unlike most other European countries, private parcel shipments are not generally received at private residences. Private customers can purchase labels at the shop and then immediately post their items.
