Ministry of Commerce People’s Republic of China Unconditionally Approves FedEx Intended Acquisition of TNT Express

Memphis, Tennessee; Hoofddorp, the Netherlands – April 29, 2016 – FedEx Corporation (FedEx) (NYSE:FDX), FedEx Acquisition B.V. (the Offeror) and TNT Express N.V. (TNT Express) jointly announce that on April 29, 2016, they obtained the unconditional approval of the Ministry of Commerce People’s Republic of China (MOFCOM) in connection with the Offer. The ADS Letters of Transmittal and other associated forms are available upon request from the ADS Tender Agent. On a daily basis, TNT Express delivers close to one million consignments ranging from documents and parcels to palletised freight. No acknowledgement of receipt of documents will be given by or on behalf of the Offeror or the ADS Tender Agent. The new service model we created provides their end-customers with a true value-add and thus a competitive market advantage for the company.

UPS Announces Changes To Finance Leadership Team

He moved to international operations in 2003, serving as Vice President of Finance for Canada, then Vice President of Finance for the Asia Pacific region. Childress also has had 11 years of experience in the international segment, serving as Vice President of Finance for Canada in 2008, and later as Vice President of Finance in Europe. Later that year, he was promoted to management and held a variety of accounting and finance leadership positions within the Air Group and Corporate Finance and Accounting before moving to international operations. In 1989, he was promoted into management and has held a variety of accounting and finance leadership positions throughout the U.S., rising to North Central Region Finance Director. Childress has served as UPS’s Vice President of Investor Relations for the past year and will now lead the quarterly earnings reporting function and ongoing relationships with leading investors.

New logistics model developed to support advancement of circular economy
