CSI Announces Election of UPS’s Laura Lane to CSI Board Chairman

US 05/17/16Washington, DCThe Coalition of Services Industries (CSI) announced today that Laura Lane, UPS President of Global Public Affairs, has been elected Chairman of CSI’s Board of Directors. In her government career, Lane served as a trade negotiator in the U.S. Trade Representative’s Office (USTR). In her overseas assignments, Lane was the economic and political-military affairs officer at the American Embassy in Kigali, Rwanda. Prior to joining UPS, Laura was the head of International Government Affairs at Citigroup and before joining Citi, Lane was VP for Global Public Policy with Time Warner. We also aim to achieve a high-standard agreement in the Trade in Services Agreement (TiSA) as well as the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) negotiations.

UPS Named A Leader In Gartner Magic Quadrant For 3PL, Worldwide

The Gartner Magic Quadrant evaluates third-party logistics providers’ ability to be a global preferred provider. In April 2015, UPS was also recognized as a Leader in the Magic Quadrant for Third-Party Logistics, North America. Gartner research publications consist of the opinions of Gartner's research organization and should not be construed as statements of fact.
