Jasa Veremalua wins first ever DHL Impact Player Award at the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series climax in London
Rewarding Consistency of Performance: The DHL Impact Player accolade is awarded to the player who demonstrates the most consistency in delivering the greatest ‘impact’ in their performances when scored analytically against four key criteria of the game – line-breaks, carries, off-loads and tackles. Jasa Veremalua scored an impressive 360 points across the Series. Rob Vickerman, current England Sevens player commented: “Fiji, whoever they play have got seven impactful players. Jasa Veremalua played in all 10 tournaments and was instrumental in helping his team to finish as overall Series winners for the second consecutive season. Osea Kolinisau also from Fiji finished in 2nd place in the DHL Impact Player ranking with Seabelo Senatla from South Africa finishing in 3rd.
