AAAE Announces Gina Adams Women in Aviation Scholarship

The American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) Foundation has announced the creation of the permanently-endowed Gina Adams Women in Aviation Scholarship, honoring Gina Adams, Corporate Vice President for Government Affairs, FedEx Corporation.

The Women in Aviation Scholarship program provides four annual awards of $5,000 to qualified female undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in accredited aviation programs. The AAAE Foundation awarded the inaugural Women in Aviation Scholarship in 2016.

“I am confident that this scholarship program will help develop a pipeline of well-qualified and ambitious women who will innovate and lead across the aviation industry for generations to come,” said Adams.

The announcement of the endowment of the scholarship was made by David J. Bronczek, President and COO, FedEx Corporation at the annual Women in Aviation Scholarship luncheon on May 2 in Washington, D.C. Learn more about the scholarship program here.
